SAS

Postby Black Guardian » 17 Oct 2014

As presented earlier today on my Blog, I made a few new SAS types with SLR:

Already on their way to casting, hope to have them ready until November!

Nice work, big improvement in your animation on those.

They will make nice Dutch Royal Marines too (ignoring the slight diffrence in kit) for deployment to Norway.

Thanks, guess the training and experience is showing itself - there´s a german proverb literally saying "no master has ever fallen from the sky" ;)
With every mini that arrives from the casting service (which about 1-2 weeks delay from shipping and some more weeks from sculpting them in the first place) I notice some points that I could have done better. So I can actually see the progress with every additional figure - and I certainly have more stuff to learn! :this:

Edit: And I´m actually not terribly happy with the DPM, it did work out better on the Taliban I painted recently

Thanks!
I believe he was saying "Übung macht den Meister" though
I´ve been doing minis for two years now (dude, is it that much already?!), would be really bad if the results where still the same as back then.
