Mai Releases & News

Postby Black Guardian » 07 May 2016

Hi folks,

after a very long period of silence, I am finally able to present some new products. Fact is that work at my dayjob has occupied me much more than it used to over the last half year, leaving me with less time to put into miniatures. The time I did have was put mostly into painting other stuff for my private purposes, leaving very little time to sculpt new stuff. However, I was not completely idle and some work started long ago has finally been finished.

So, first off, the new stuff:

Cold War Bundeswehr - Panzergrenadiere:

Modern German Special Forces

Modern British Infantry

Modern Russian Support

African Irregulars with SKS Rifles

And (sorry for the blurry pic)

Taliban PKM Gunners

As always, figures are available at http://www.enfilade-figures.com.

Phasing Out Old Sets!

Apart from the new releases I have another announcement to make. Due to some trouble with the production of older sets and their apparent shortfall of quality when compared to newer figures, I have decided to phase out some of the older packs.
This means they are now limited stock items, I will sell off the remaining sets for a discount but no restocks will be ordered.

Sets that are affected by this policy change will be flagged "Limited Stock", so they can be easily recognized:

Once they are out of stock, they´re gone in their old form!

However, for most of these old sets, I will be phasing in a suitable replacement, which means very similar figures will appear. This may take some time however - in the meantime, I´ll mark them as "Currently Not Available". There is the very real possibility that some sets might be discontinued indefinitely though, if their past performance doesn´t make the investment of resculpting and molding look worthwile.

Replacements may also happen within a single set - some sets have to be remolded and I will be updating single figures that I feel need an overhaul. But these replacements will be happening on a very limited scale and I will try to remodel the figures as closely as I can.

That´s the big news for today!
Thanks for reading all of it if you made it this far ;)

Cheers,
Robert

I didn't know that you were releasing french modern ! Too bad you kept the FAMAS F1 rifle, like elhiem did too.

Now (rca, mali) the famas used ("famas valorisé", basically a famas felin without the optronics sight and integrated coms - famas felin itself is based on famas g2) are quite diferent (diferent barrel, handle replaced by lower rail, handguard). Maybe a future release.

Anyway, new poses for french 20mm modern is a very good news. I'll share the infos on french forums :clapping: :good:

By the way, do you plan to sell specialist packs in the future ? I'm especially thinking of the portuguese. I would have some use for the specialists (machingun, rocket launcher, energa grenades), but have (really) enough riflemen, for instance.

Well, I used the weapons I had available - happened to be the old models I guess. To be honest, I wasn´t aware of the differences. If you point me to a few good reference pictures of the "right" kit for Ultramodern French I can try to fix that for the next set.

Yes, I remember our conversation in the Portugal Project Thread. Expansion of the Portugese range is certainly going to happen, only a matter of time. I happen to have a single incomplete set of Portugese (POR-1) due to some miscasts - the support weapons are intact, I could peel them off for you, in case you want some support stuff sooner rather than later. ;)

Thank you !

I'll search for pics, and come back to speak about it. I will be interested by some portuguese specialists, and probably some french too. I'll recontact you tommorow, or next week
