Middle East Civilians

Middle East Civilians

Postby Goosegog » 11 Oct 2015

Hi Matt

Can I put in a request for Middle East Civilian types. Male, female and children. I'm mainly thinking for Iraq. Civilians in traditional and western dress. One at least on a mobile phone ie a spotter.

Civilians going about their normal business and angry mob types.

Also really struggling to a find a suitable 20mm or 1/72 scale dromedary camel. Would you be up for sculpting one or two? (without any accoutrements).

Regards
Mark

Some already on Matt's superb lines (A-Stan, but could be used elsewhere)

Dromedary & Camels in Raventhorpe and Combat Miniatures in Stonewall Shop, so no need to put Matt doing stuff already on the Market.

Yes some of Matt's figures can be used for civilian types I'm after, the Pandemic line for one. But I do not want to have Afghans standing in for Iraqi civilians. Different style of traditional dress.

Have not seen the camels by the companies you have mentioned, but since I like Matt's sculpting style down to me to ask.

Apologies to Matt for highlighting other ranges in his area

For Iraqis try IT Miniatures Arab Civilians in their WW1 Arab range:-

http://www.frontlinewargaming.co.uk/

or Liberation in their Insurgents range:-

http://www.rhmodels.com/50.html

Hope this helps.

Thanks Phil for the point towards IT miniatures figures had not seen them before. But still not quite what I'm after. I had already considered Liberation but ruled out for the moment due to the difference in figure height.
Yes I could ignore it or raise the height of the figure on the base.

I'm hoping that either Matt would be interested in expanding the modern range to include civilians or if need be then I will consider commissioning suitable figures.
