Norman Keep and Bailey updated (pic heavy)

New postby Bluewillow » 18 Aug 2008

My Norman keep and bailey

I went for a modular centrepice so I can make a later keep, viking longhall, celtic village, roman watchtower and a AWI/ FIW fortlet.

I have a early norman keep finnished which will be the centre piece for this entry, quite happy with this, I cannot possibly finnish the FIW fort, viking longhall or the roman watchtower in time though.

everything was scratch built except for the ladder, which is a GW LOTR seige ladder.

I didn't finnish the gate, as I wanted a working swing gate and first effort was shite. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

cheers
Matt

I will hopefully get some time to take some pics outdoors today with some figures and will add them in below. Almost finnished the roman watchtower in time, but decided to play dark crusade instead

Nice work man! :good: I love the dark ages, this build is dragging me in so many different directions interest-wise I am afraid.... I digress....
Great job, I think its great that you can use the stockade for so many different conflicts, wouldn't have thought of dark ages england and FIW together myself.
Thanks for sharing,
Jim
