My neverending project log (Mostly WW2 - 20mm)

My neverending project log (Mostly WW2 - 20mm)

Postby MaaX » 01 Jun 2014

I've started my adventure with 20mm models last year after I got my copies of Battlegroup Kursk and Overlord. This is most of my stash:
Image
Almost all of it its already assembled/half assembled. Today I've dusted off and applied base colour on Tigers, Panthers and some halftracks for my Overlord and FoTR germans:
Image
Two Mercedes trucks are almost ready, I just need to apply camouflage colours, weathering and glue them together. There were no decals provided in this kit so I took some from other kits and cut the so that each vehicle have unique licence plate.
Image
I'll cover the black line and add "-" between ss and the numbers tomorrow. I've started painting blankets
Image
and cargo on the back of FAMO
Image
and base coated drivers.

This will be my recovery Sherman for yanks in Normandy:

I'll try post all my progress here in this thread.Hopefully this will motivate me to actually finish some of it and start to work on my infantry

Looking good,..........
Greatness is not in where we stand, but in what direction we are moving. We must sail sometimes in the wind, and sometimes against it, but SAIL WE MUST, and not drift nor lie at anchor.

Assembled and painted with base colour, it will be part of my 1st polish armoured division for overlord games. Tracks are from PSC kit as I couldn't put that resign tracks together

All the trucks are ready, pictures in This thread.

All my Dunkelgelb vehicles and late war Tiger II received dark washes:

Additionally this three tanks got their highlight done as well. I will try to finish them before the weekend so I can surprise my opponent on the weekend game

And this is FAMO's cargo, almost finished:

A bit more done today:
Image
Camouflage is ready, tracks received first layer of paint and all vehicles have their decals applied. I'm going to pain all the equipment attached to tanks and Tiger I needs his left side cross to be hand painted because steel wire mounted on that side prevents from applying decal.
