20mm WW2 German Buildings

20mm WW2 German Buildings

Postby shann1870 » 10 Sep 2017

Hi
There is a series of posts on my blog http://www.steve-nationsinarms.blogspot.co.uk on using model railway buildings in wargames. I have been really pleased with the way they have turned out using an air brush on them Thanks to Rob (panzerfaust 200) for his inspirational thread on Neustadt which got me started on this track.

Lovely, excellent use of H0 kits and you really made those bits of plastic come alive :)

They look excellent....
Greatness lies not in where we stand, but in what direction we are moving. We must sail sometimes with the wind, and sometimes against it, but sail we must, and not drift nor lie at anchor.

I like them too despite my personal tendency to build already demolished buildings ;)

You should build one of each. ;). Or as per (I think) Peter Young's Charge!: or how to play wargames have the ruin slightly smaller so that it fits inside the building. When the building is destroyed, you lift off the complete building and, voila, the ruin is revealed!

Super job. Love the idea for the 'add on gardens'; it really brings them to life. Lots of ideas for my Cold War buildings, now!

The add on gardens give great flexibility and are fairly easy to do. I am trying to make 2 or 3 for each module to give me as much variety as possible. Glad you like them.
