A couple of Normandy shops

A couple of Normandy shops

Postby forrester » 18 Mar 2017

Neither currently open for business.
My brother gave me these Sarissa kits at Christmas. I enlarged the ground floor window on the house So I could have two shops. They are actually 15mm but are fine with 20mm models.

I think the cracks are still a bit too stark and need a little more dusting over.

Those houses look great, although i do not like WWII stone buildings made from MDF. Somehow they do not look convincingly real.
But you did a great paintjob on them, and i also like the damaged roofs, something you do not see often with resin buildings.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I just want to point out that MDF is not that bad and can be turned into realistic buildings as per my examples.
