Sea mat for air (and naval) games

Sea mat for air (and naval) games

Postby Emilio » 15 Jul 2017

Nor sure if this is the correct section for this post... Not a true terrain.

I made a sea mat for Bag the hun with a sea texture I found in the web. The mat is 6'x4'. Then I used the program paint.net to add the hex grid. I sent the file to Pixartprinting (do this only when theres is an offer!!) and this is the finished mat:

The mat is printed in vinyl, by this company:

https://www.pixartprinting.es/formato-g ... -frontlit/

It is expensive, but if you wait for an offer (mine was 30% off plus free post) it becomes very cheap! I spent 30 euros in this mat (180x120 cm) plus a 90x90 cm space one for my son´s Star Wars game.

You have to upload the image you want to be printed. I made mine with a sea texture I found in the web (a seamless one that you can paste several times to get the size you want), and them I added the hex grid with the paint.net program.

Hmmm... very very interesting for sure. I'm confused as to which vinyl product would be suitable for printing a gaming mat...

Probably this: ??
